Event info
We already have some excellent speakers booked for both the main seminar and our popular planning workshop. There will be presentations on floating offshore wind, an exciting development in the Celtic Sea which is likely to provide considerable business for our industry; there will be an update on carbon capture and the use of hydrogen power and a senior civil servant from Welsh Government’s energy department will provide the keynote address.
Our planning workshop will tackle a number of issues related to our industry. Chief planning inspector Victoria Robinson will provide an update on the work of the inspectorate; Natural Resources Wales has agreed to talk about Biodiversity Resilience and a member of the Welsh Government’s planning team will talk about Corporate Joint Committees.
As the first in-person MPA Wales event to take place since March 2020, we are anticipating a high level of interest to attend. For this reason, members are encouraged to book their places early.
