We are proposing to hold the virtual Symposium on Wednesday 13 October 2021. We have taken the decision to transfer to an online event now, so that we have adequate time to prepare our programme and our speakers. As a virtual event, we can welcome attendees from across the globe, so this offers a great opportunity to showcase your UK-lime research.
You can submit a 250-word abstract until 30 June 2021. Get in touch if you need more information on the abstract submission process. We are planning to publish a formal Proceedings of selected papers after the event, in early 2022.
Registration for the event is now open – please submit your details using this form. You will only receive an invitation to the event if you have registered to attend. As the virtual Symposium is an online event, you can register until Friday 01 October.
The event is free to attend, and we will be offering prizes for presentations and posters by students and early career researchers, so this is a great opportunity to do some work around the manufacture and uses of lime.
We are very interested in work from students and academics in higher education institutions, as well as early career professionals and industry practitioners, and we encourage you to submit an abstract on your work to present at the Symposium. We have already received some excellent abstracts concerning the research going on across the UK, and we’ve been in touch with academic and industrial researchers that are planning submissions.
